AI videos – level 3

16-10-2025 07:00

AI-generated short videos, often called AI slop, are flooding the internet, replacing real and authentic content. These clips, usually around eight seconds long, are designed to trigger emotions before viewers can think critically.

Because they are short, they can be made quickly and shared widely, which makes them powerful tools for spreading misinformation. Many of these videos show fake events, such as disasters or celebrity news, that look convincing at first glance. Experts explain that creating longer AI videos requires huge computing power, which is why most stay short.

There are ways to spot AI videos: they often have strange movements, gibberish text, and no camera motion. Some companies, like Google, are trying to mark AI content with invisible watermarks, but they are not visible to users. Viewers must stay alert, check other sources, and avoid sharing suspicious content to protect themselves from digital deception.

Difficult words: authentic (real), convincing (making you believe that something is true or real), gibberish (nonsense text or speech), deception (making someone believe something false).

You can watch the video news lower on this page.

Why do most AI-generated clips remain around eight seconds long?
