The Grand Egyptian Museum is now open near the pyramids of Giza in Egypt. It is one of the biggest museums in the world. It shows many beautiful things from ancient Egypt.

It takes twenty years to build and costs about one billion dollars. Egypt borrows a lot of money from Japan. Inside, visitors can see many old things, for example, all the famous gold objects from Pharaoh Tutankhamun’s tomb.

The museum will bring more tourists to Egypt and help the country’s economy. During the opening, there are fireworks and lights in the sky. Many people come to celebrate this special moment for Egypt.

Difficult words: ancient (very old), pharaoh (the king of old Egypt), tomb (a special place where important dead people stay).
